Some people are simply born to lead, nurture and inspire those around them; and Nancy is definitely that type of person. When she was ten years old, she saw the only family she knew begin to breakdown and end up in divorce. Rather than being consumed by pain or disappointment, Nancy tapped into her inner strength and did what she could to keep her sisters and mother together. One could say that this life event began her career.

 

When she was 16, Nancy found out that she and her two sisters had Retinitus Pigmentosa (RP) a degenerative eye condition. Over the years, Nancy experienced subtle yet measurable vision loss, but she did not let this hold her back. She made the choice to continue to live life full out.

Nancy became pro-active in searching for ways to improve her vision, and was selected from a large pool of vision-impaired people to be a part of a research study that is still in progress. Impaired eyesight or not, Nancy is amazingly her own person!

 

As a teenager, Nancy traveled to Hokkaido, Japan as an exchange student. In her early 20's she set out on a journey with her sister to backpack through Europe. In two months, she traveled to 11 countries throughout Europe, giving her the opportunity to continue to grow and learn more about other cultures.

 

After returning from Europe, Nancy immediately flew to Virginia to attend The Leadership Institute. Nancy was able to further develop and mature her ideas, skills and ability to lead and help others.

 

Nancy graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA degree and a focus in Journalism and Psychology. Her journalism degree allowed her the opportunity to intern for the popular morning show, Good Morning America. At this time in her life, she worked with high-powered professionals in the field, while living on the east coast and working in New York. Upon moving back to Los Angeles, she had further training in broadcasting, and was selected to intern at Entertainment Tonight.

Next, Nancy followed a long-held dream when she took several years to sing professionally and work on her music career. She enjoyed networking with well-known celebrities and attending legendary events, like the Grammy's.

In 2001, Nancy got her real estate license and for over 8 years has successfully been helping people buy homes. Even while the market was in a downward spiral, Nancy was very successful in using her excellent negotiating skills to help both buyers and sellers find common ground in the changing market.

After years of proving to herself that nothing could stop her fromliving life FULL OUT, under any circumstances, Nancy wanted to help others to follow their dreams. In reflecting over her life, it is easy to see that Nancy is a natural teacher and coach. She has been preparing her entire life to sharpen her ability to help others to live life FULL OUT!
